780 nm Half Waveplates
This is for 2 780nm half waveplates. Mounted in a small rotating mount. These have 9mm clear aperture. They were originally used with a External Cavity Diode Laser(ECDL) operating about 780nm. The laser was used in Raman Spectroscopy. These rotated the polarization of the polarized laser before and after entering a holographic bandpass filter. They are in good condition with no damage. Or you could put an input output line on the mixed gas connector and run it as a flowing gas RF CO2 laser! This laser was purchased by the US government and sold as government surplus and we did not test it. AUGUST 2013 INVENTORY REDUCTION SALE Included in this auction is a Synrad brand UC-2000 laser controller. The device comes with the cables shown to control a CO2 laser. It also includes a AC-DC power adapter. And a DB9 cable to connect to a PC if desired(not necessary for hand held operation) Everything in the photographs is included, and also a printed manual(not shown) and a BNC Tee adapter(not shown) The UC-2000 works well. It is shown powered on in the photographs. This is a great product by Synrad because it is very easy to use and intuitive. Powering on a laser and adjusting the control by using the large knob is fast and convenient. I have used its predecessor. This Helium Neon laser is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical(as far as I can tell) condition. I can’t find any flaws or marks worth mentioning unless we start getting into microscopic inspections. A sturdy mounting bracket is included. I am also including a“Coherent” Laser power supply as well as an accompanying“Laser Drive” power supply. Which has the correct connector. These two are connected and work in tandem to power the laser. This power supply works perfectly but it will require a standard computer power cord which you can find almost anywhere. I just don’t have one to spare. I mean, I have one but I can’t spare it. This sweet laser is fully operational and is guaranteed to fire up. It takes a minute or so for the beam to coalesce after the power supply is plugged in. After that. It just gets stronger up to 15 milliwatts. I know ... morethe picture of the laser beam on a piece of white paper makes the beam look kind of washed-out and lame. But, actually, it's an extremely bright red tight beam. My photography skills just leave something to be desired. This is a nice German-made laser and worth every penny I'm asking for it.

I don’t have a power supply to test it. From what I understand. When it was removed from its native environment, it still worked, but I’m not sure. Judging from its overall appearance, inside and out, I would say it most likely does work. It just needs a power supply. I mean it looks pristine! Unfortunately I don't know the output but I think it's about 30-40 mw. This laser needs someone who understands lasers better than I do.
