Vintage C.L. Berger & Sons Surveyors Instrument Transit w/Wooden Case -1920's-
I'm selling at no reserve this beautiful old surveying transit that was made in the late 1920's according to the serial number of 15576. It appears to be in all original. Working, well cared for condition. Based on the condition of the case, it was certainly used for many years. The case has great patina and has a small section of the door that appears to have been replaced at one time. Insured shipping will be $29 in the lower 48. International bidders welcome. Thanks!

Pre WW II Surveyors Transit
For Sale is a pre-world war II surveyers transit. Which is in Excellent shape and is 100% operable. This unit was found in an old abandon shack. On the prarie in New Mexico, therefore I know nothing of the history of it or where or when it was used. It is constructed of a material which appears to be copper. As may be seen in the pictures. This transit has been in my possession for the past 20 plus years and has not been used or removed from its container in that time. So undoubtedly it may be dusty, but nothing that can't be removed with a little compressed air.

You are buying a vintage Lietz/sokkisha model#625 surveyors transit. The transit is in great condition considering its age. There is a little scuff on the cover that goes over the lense and a little scuff on the top of the lense, you can see in pictures. Everything looks like it works great, when u look the the scope u can see clearly. I don't know much about this item but it looks like everything does what is intented to do. The box looks original, the box is in pretty poor shape, one of the hinges to the door is missing screws, feel free to ask any questions and I can answer the best I can, I don't really know what this is worth so I'm am using the buy it know or best offer option, I know what I have into it so I am looking to at least get that out of it, I am open to all offers, thank you.

Vintage TOKIO JAPAN- SOKKISHA * SURVEYORS TRANSIT IN ORIGINAL BOX AND EXTRAS
Here is a fantastic brass& iron transit. It is a Japanese made transit by Sokkisha. It sits on wooden base. And slides into the case, and is then held down with a brass fitting that screws into the case bottom. The compass in the center has a fancy hallmark with the number or date 1935 inside it. There are approx 15 brass knobs on this transit. For adjusting pieces on it. The paint on it is not cracked, I am certain that is how it was decorated. So as to look old. The case is in very nice condition. But the strap is broken. Inside the case is a brass plumb bob. An extra lens in a leather case, and a label. The label reads. Kono Kikai de Stadia Sokurio o suru baai, and two more line that I am not going to type out. It also has. SOKKISHA& CO. TOKIO JAPAN. This listing is for(1) transit as seen in the pictures above. This is a nice vintage piece. We believe it to be a model# 8090 David White Transit but we are not 100% sure. There are no marking on the item that we can see and most of the sticker is missing from the case. In good condition given its age. Shows signs of use and storage from the years. Mostly on the outer hard case but a little on the instrument itself. Please see the pictures for a better look. There appears to be a brown burn type mark on the inside of the case that lines up with the mark on the instrument as well. Not sure what this is exactly. This is for the vintage wood tripod pictured. I have added 9 pictures total which will include the measurements. I have looked this over and I could find no maker's marks so I am unsure of what this would fit. I'm sure this can be adapted for many different uses. The legs are in good condition. The top of this is a little warped but is still solid. I did find a little broken piece and that is shown in the 6th picture. This should have little to no effect on it. This is most likely from the mid to late 60's, very heavy and well built scope. There are no manuals, only what you see in the pictures. If you have not used one of these I recommend that you read up on how to, but for basic level it is pretty easy. This is not brand new out of the box, but has been well cared for over the years. David White Meridian Realist 8010 Surveyors Level Transit with Case & Tripod
This is a vintage surveying instrument and tri-pod. I believe it is a David White Meridian Level Transit Realist 8010. The research I did on it leads me to believe it is from the early 1930's The level's case has the kind of wear you would expect to see after years and years of use on the job. Also has what looks to be a driver's license number faintly engraved on the case. The tripod also shows plenty of use but is completely functional. Legs are approximately 59 inches long. Great item for industrial look home décor as well as intended use. Please do not hesitate to ask for additional pictures or ask questions. Better to iron out details before the auction ends. Also. Very Old Vintage Deitzgen 3 1/2 Inch Diameter Wood Tripod For Surveyors Transit
Very Nice Very Old Deitzgen 3 1/2" 8-Thread Surveyor's Tripod(transit not included) Adjusts from 36" tall to 56" tall This tripod was a workhorse back in the day and it has the scars to prove it! It has lots of character! 3 1/2'bowl' with an 8 thread fastening system. Would make a great display. I refinished the brass clamps and screws and gave it a'brushed brass' look. I didn't do anything to the wood except give it a good cleaning. All clamps and legs work well. One clamp is cracked(see last picture) Wooden legs are a bit chewed up at the bottom. Metal'cleats' on bottoms of legs are pitted/rusty but are securely fastened to the legs. Top of tripod is in great condition. Threads are very nice. The cap is included(and you never find these) All wing nuts and hardware at top function well. Leather ... morestrap that holds it together while folded up is long gone- probably why the clamps chewed away at the legs like they did. The pictures are a large portion of the total description. THE LENS AND LEVEL GLASSES ARE ALL IN GOOD SHAPE. THERE ARE 3 TINY PINHEAD HOLES IN THE LOWER BAR(NEAR THE NAME) AND I ACTUALLY DIDN'T NOTICE THEM UNTIL I TOOK MY PICTURES. The legs of the tripod are non telescoping. The box is dove-tailed and has a leather strap that is broken. I don't know whether or not it is the original box. The box is also heavily scratched and gouged. Please see the photos. The tripod legs are dirty and the varnish on them is mottled. The unit itself. Although tarnished and in need of a good cleaning, appears to be in fine shape. Sold AS-IS!
