This auction is for a Vintage Hoppy Split-Image Deluxe Transit Model G2 in Original Box w/ Instructions. Hopkins Mfg. Corp. Emporia. Kansas. Has scratches, dirt, and ware throughout. All knobs turn freely. Instructions have some spotty staining to them. This needs a good cleaning. I do not know if it works properly or not, but it appears to be all intact. Box is intact with some staining, and writting on it. No tears. Measures approx 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 3" This is AS IS! What you see is what you get. Please view pics carefully. Hopkins MFG Corp Hoppy Model G2 Split Image Transit w/ Case, Manual
For sale is a Model G2 Split Image Transit surveying tool produced by the Hopkins Manufacturing Corp out of Emporia. KS. The tool is in very good condition with minimal handling wear{i.e. light scuffs and light scratches} on the plastic body of the tool. The item appears to be intact, but I am not certain if it is missing any pieces. There is a screw hold tab on one side of the device and I am not sure if there is a piece that is supposed to go there or not. There are no apparent cracks, breaks, or stress marks in the plastic body of the item. There are no apparent cracks or breaks in the mirrors of the tool. The case is in good condition with some minimal handling wear but no apparent cracking or rotting present. There is some minor rust present on the metal elements of the case. All of the paperwork is in good condition with minimal to ... moreno apparent discoloration. The pamphlets only have the expected folds and there is only one tiny rip at the top of the instruction sheet. I try to describe all of my items to the best of my possibility. Although rare.
