Up for auction is a vintage Sokkisha(present-day Sokkia) transit with the original wood and aluminum tripod and a red plumb bob. I have done my best to take pictures of the important-looking parts of this instrument. But I am not a surveyor and I do not know anything about surveying equipment, so please let me know if there's any part I should include a picture of. The legs all extend to about double the height. I have looked through the lens. And light passes through it, but I do not know how to focus it. Also. The compass does not seem to move, but it could just be locked. Again, I am not sure.
