Lietz Sokkisha Model 115 transit
For sale we have a nice Lietz model 115 Transit. This unit is in super nice shape the scope and crosshairs are nice and clear and everything works smoothley.The only problem is with the guard as you can see in the picture it needs two screws to attach it back on the transit. The threads look fine it will take two screws.I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this unit. You will have to check that yourself and re-calibrate if necessary.Also the case has markings and scuff marks as in the pictures but the latches work as they should.The shipping is calculated to your location.Any questions please send a e-mail. EXCELLENT LIETZ SOKKISHA MODEL SDM 3ER 10 SURVEYING STATION TACHEOMETER WITH TRANSIT/STORAGE CASE. This is a working. Very nice, precision instrument. Condition is full excellent. Check the pics for the cosmetic condition. There are no owner marks, no paint problems, no signs of much use at all. There is one small case rub, but it is hardly noticable. The unit is extremely clean. Optics are clear. All controls and adjustment mechanisms are smooth acting and clean. The display is bright. All control buttons function. A dimming. Auxilliary light source is included. It is in good working order and has new batteries installed. The original tool kit, plumb bob, lens hood and auxiliary external level are also included. This unit has been fitted with inexpensive and readily available C cells instead of the problematic factory battery pack. Right ... morenow it has disposable C cells. But they could easily be replaced with rechargeable C cells. Battery life on the disposable C cells is extremely good. The battery conversion works wonderfully and no mods were made to the unit itself. It is simply a drop in module that is easily lifted out. The shipping/storage case is very good to excellent condition with absolutely no problems. You can count on it to keep this instrument safe as it has since new. Testing: To be honest. I do not know how to properly use this instrument. But I have examined it closely and gone thru many power on functions. Power on is smooth, no error codes. Up for your consideration is a used Sokkisha Lietz DT5A Theodolite Total Station. It is in good working condition. It turns a tight angle, horizontally and vertically. It may need calibration though. The optical plumb works well. All of the lenses are in good clean condition without flaws. The light works and the battery is good. No battery charger is included. It comes in the case with rain coat. The plumb bob that looks like it was never used, and the adjustment kit. There is some damage to the side where the lietz badge is. It does affect the usability of this item. I do not know if it was dropped or someone closed the case with something in that spot. I cannot speculate that. There is a little scuff on the cover that goes over the lense and a little scuff on the top of the lense, you can see in pictures. Everything looks like it works great, when u look the the scope u can see clearly. I don't know much about this item but it looks like everything does what is intented to do. This Instrument appears to have had very little use. I purchased it at auction to use around my property but found an automatic level was more suited to my needs. I had the batteries recelled. It starts goes through it's self check. I have used it to measure distance and lay out piers. it worked fine. Instruction manual included. Including a prism. THE TRIPOD DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRANSIT.

Here is a fantastic brass& iron transit. It is a Japanese made transit by Sokkisha. It sits on wooden base. And slides into the case, and is then held down with a brass fitting that screws into the case bottom. The compass in the center has a fancy hallmark with the number or date 1935 inside it. There are approx 15 brass knobs on this transit. For adjusting pieces on it. The paint on it is not cracked, I am certain that is how it was decorated. So as to look old. The case is in very nice condition. But the strap is broken. Inside the case is a brass plumb bob. An extra lens in a leather case, and a label. The label reads. Kono Kikai de Stadia Sokurio o suru baai, and two more line that I am not going to type out. It also has. SOKKISHA& CO. TOKIO JAPAN. There is another oblong compartment on the door and the piece that was in there ... moreis gone. Over the next few months I will be listing a variety of used survey instruments for sale by the Oregon Institute of Technology(OIT) 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of these instruments will be used by the college to purchase more modern surveying instruments. Up for auction is this vintage Lietz/Sokkisha Transit/Level Model No.625 with Compass Wheel. I do not know it's age. It is missing some parts so it's being sold for restoration or parts. it measures 14-1/2" tall. 7-1/4" wide at the dial and the transit/level is 11" long. I believe the eye piece is missing. One of the brackets that holds the small white level in place is missing. The transit/level weighs 18-lbs and 1.6 oz. The box measures 16 x 13 x 9-1/4" and weighs 9-lb and 10.7 oz. It has(2) keys to lock the box. The bottom of the transit/leve I where it mounts to the tripod measures 3-1/2" I have described this transit/level to the best of my knowledge and as I see it.
