Buyer received deck but had issue with pixellation occurring on right hand side of screen during batch capture. I suspect head was bumped out of alignment during shipping. Tried to test once I received return item- Final Cut DOES recognize it. But I no longer have anything but blank tapes to test with. Final cut just says"no video to capture" but does recognize the deck. Long story short. This could be working 100% could have a head alignment issue, or could merely power on and be recognized by Final Cut. My relationship with DV tape technology has been notoriously frustrating so I am selling this deck FOR PARTS/AS IS/NO RETURNS in its current state. You can probably get this working ... moreif you are a pro DV shooter/cutter, or have any DV repair knowledge. I have gotten my money's worth out of it, so a lucky bidder may get an extremely good deal. You are also receiving AC adapter and Firewire cable with this purchase.
