Here is a very clean IFR model 2946A Avionics Communication Service Monitor. This is a portable unit for avionics testing of ILS. VOR, SELCAL receivers etc. It also is a general purpose spectrum analyzer with tracking generator covering the range of 100 kHz to 1 GHz. The tracking generator also has an offset feature. Has glideslope. Localizer, marker beacon and VOR test generartors built in. a very flexible unit. The operating manual and programming manual are included. There is also an BNC to N connector adapter included. The little antenna I used to test the" look and listen" feature is not included. I have not use this for it's intended aircraft function. Cushman CE5 Service Monitor
I have up for sale this CE5 Cushman Service Monitor that had just been completely reconditioned about a year ago. It has the Model 301a Oscope and the 304B Preselector installed. It also comes with the 20db attenuator for the signal generator. The reason I am listing it as for parts or not working is that it has lost the far right digit in the display. All others are still bright and working. The only function that I have used is the IF function for signal generation due to the fact that I have no VHF equipment to check it out on. As far as I know the VHF/UHF generator function works as it should. The scope has a bright stable trace and seems to be very accurate. I have been as honest as I can be in this description and I do have a manual that I will include with the CE5. I will also include an antenna for the preselector in the deal. Singer Gertsch FM10CS FM-10CS Frequency Meter Signal Generator Service Monitor For sale is this Singer Gertsch FM-10CS two-way radio diagnostic monitor. It is not fully tested. As I do not have the technical knowledge or equipment to do so. It does power on, and the sound system works. When first powered on, the scope showed a bright line that extend about 1/3 of the way across the screen. After I cleaned some of the storage grime from it, and in doing so changed some of the settings, the scope did not light up, but a bouncing dot of light appeared momentarily when I powered it down. It includes the 301A Oscilloscope. The 304B 25-50 MHz Preselector and the 305B 140-175 MHz Preselector. The original manual is included as well as the antenna and 20 db Attenuator. The case on the monitor is also in great condition with very minor signs of use. The leather handle in still in great shape too. I do not know how to use the monitor, so I cracked the manual. I plugged it in and let the unit warm up and put it through the paces. I believe everything to be working properly, but it has not been calibrated since 1978 so I can not know for sure. Singer FM10CS Service Monitor with scope Working! Singer FM10CS Frequency Meter Signal Generator in good condition. Few deep gouges inpaint on the top from another instrument that was set there. The case is freee of any dents. Missing 2 rubber feet. I do not have the dc power cord. I have owned this for 20+ years. Around 1990 it was placed on a desk in the spare room in my non-smoking home and retired. I kept it as a good working service monitor as a back up for my IFR 1200S. Occasionally I used the FM10CS to generate a signal while the IFR was reading the output of a cross-band repeater I was calibrating levels on and it served well for that. I hooked this up to a recently calibrated IFR COM120B and it came up immediately at 52.120 MHz it was within 100 Hz of the source freq. At 152.120 it was the same and at 452.12 MHz it was within 200 ... moreHz(see photos of each freq) The reference oscillator in this does not require any WARMUP. It has a jack on the rear for supplying an external reference if desired. The scope shows peak deviation during recv and the meter shows deviation with center scale being zerobeat. The dev readout also checked good against the 1kHz tone I was generating(along with PL tone) on my IFR. The only issue I have observed when checking this out prior to listing it was that some of the switches are a little flaky. Probably a little oxidation of the contacts but after exercising them a few times, like a few twists of the gen/rcv knob it came right up showing the input accurate to less than 100 Hz and the deviation reading was correct. If the buyer wants me to calibrate the TCXO I will gladly do that before shipping it. If I had some DeOxid spray I would try some of it on the switches. They are rotary switches and most likely the silver contacts have darkened over time, otherwise everything checks out as working! NOTE: This is a heavy piece of gear and probably best picked up locally or I can deliver within 60 miles of San Francisco at no charge. Shipping can be arranged if the buyer wants to pay

IFR 1000A Communications Service Monitor, RF Signal Generator
This is a used. Not functioning IFR service monitor. We have owned it for over 25 years and it always worked great, but about 3 months ago, it stopped working, blowing either the AC line fuse or the DC fuse, depending on which source you used. The oven light comes on until you turn on the power, then the fuse blows. I disconnected the internal battery, in case that might have failed, but it made no difference. I am retiring, and have another monitor, so I am not looking to repair this one. My loss could be your gain. It includes the front cover and both the AC and DC power cables. The battery is old and probably not serviceable. We used it on the bench and never used it. The unit is clean, considering it's age. The gaskets are dried out, but the face and case are not scuffed up.

I plugged it in and it powered up just fine. All meters and buttons appear to work and function as they should. I hear tones and meters move when flipping switches. My Father was a Ham and ran a business. He had this unit in his shop and wrote that it had a bad 4500 card. Don't know what that means. Looks to be in good condition. Comes with cover.
