The on/off switch does not turn the unit off. The unit is always in the on setting. The ALC switch handle has sheared off. I was not able to change the frequency numbers on the right side but pushing any of the command switches or buttons. There are some signs of wear such as surface scratches and sticker residue. Wavetek2407 0.01-550MHz Synthesized RF Signal Generator and Service Manual
You are bidding for USED WaveTek 2407 synthesized RF signal generator covering 0.01-550MHz range and can output +13dBm power. It passes all self tests and is operational as shown in the pictures- the first shows the spectrum of FM-modulated 550MHz with 80kHz deviation. The two other show un-modulated signal carrier at 550MHz and 10MHz respectively. The generator is*not* calibrated, but the frequency and power settings are accurate as seen in the photograph. While it appears working. It has a flaw- from time to time it loses lock after first ~30min operation for few seconds and then restores the lock again. It was in the storage for 2 years. I have a service manual with all schematics which comes with the generator so one skilled in the art may be able to repair it. I am selling it"as is" No calibration, no warranty and not expecting ... morereturns. However.
