The unit appears to be in working order. The operator’s manual is not present. 1 probe is present but is damaged. Heathkit IG-102 AF/RF Generator W/Original Manual
Great clean condition with all functions tested and working. The tubes have been tested and all the switches have been cleaned as you can see the output is on spot. The 400 HZ. audio output works as well i replaced the old microphone jacks with modern BNC connectors so you can use it with most of todays equipment that has BNC input/output connections. I like the compact size of this unit and i'm sure it will fit in on the smallest of work benches. The only flaw i found in on the bottom edge of the face place.There is a slight dent that can be seen in the photo of this area. Heathkit IG-102 AF/RF Signal Generator with Manual
A fully restored AF/RF generator thats in working conditon and can be put to use right out of the box. I purchased an original manual to complete this unit and installed BNC AF/RF connectors to bring it up to date. I replaced the 20/20mfd. filter capacitors which removed the audio hum from the unit and tested both outputs to insure proper operation there-after. The BNC test lead was all so purchased new and is included with this unit. We as Americans throw away many items that still have purpose in life and if we will choose to recycle/refurbish and buy those things made in this country we will be a great once nation again. Sorry to get on my soap-box but i would like to see more people restoring the items from the past and not throwing the baby out with the bath water. Hi! This is a fun device or at least I remember it that way when I think about using something like it when I was in school. Set for audio and connected to an amplifier circuit. My buddies and I would drive our teacher crazy with the siren-like sound effects… Oh well. Seriously, it’s a must-have instrument for signal tracing and amp-testing among other things. Unfortunately, I do not have the cables, so you’ll be on your own in that regard. This one belonged to a relative that did a lot of repair work, but I don’t know the condition of it at the moment.
