Here's a nice HP8640B. I'd bet that this is the only one on ebay that has had it's phase noise measured. Phase noise is an extremely important measurement that is often overlooked. Spectrum analyzer plots only tell part of the story- it is just about impossible to judge phase noise from an ordinary spectrum analyzer plot that you usually see on ebay. It was measured in an Agilent E5500 series phase noise measurement system using the HP8663 Low Noise Signal Generator as the reference. You see that it meets specification easily. You won't find a better signal generator these days. Unless you have an 8663) they just don't make them like they used to. The spectrum plots show maximum output at 30 MHz and 1 GHz.
