Hipotronics serial number 1110-1133, I guarantee this works or your money back. I have tested this with making it trip with a resistor providing the equivalent"leakage" current to trip and it works. It is easily reset for the next test. By"works" I mean that the relay opens and the HV is removed from the unit under test(UUT) This auction is for this unit only. I do not have any accessories or documentation for this HD103 unit other than the links provided in the line below. More detailed specifications ... moreare in the spec sheet or another version I don't know the history of this unit but it appears that the original HV transformer had blown and may not have blown quietly as there was some smoke residue on the inside only. It was replaced and you can see splicing in the wires and a fishing line as protection so the HV wires will not short out. In the last picture below. You may be able to see that the HV transformer was replaced. Please note that on one other HD103 unit that I have seen. There is some form of extra contactor mounted on the inside right side(looking from the front) which I took a picture of and will include below. Both units function the same as far as i can tell but this contactor in the other unit appears to be in the HV line. If you have questions. Please ask me. If you would like me to run a specific test, or make a movie of some test, I may entertain that but can not guarentee that it will be in time before the auction close. Heathkit VTVM Ohm Volt Multimeter Model IM - 5218 Tester
This is for a Heathkit Model IM- 5218 VTVM. It has been tested and it does work however the DC readings from a 1.5 volt battery were a little low. I did not try to measure an AC reading. As testing the AC line can be dangerous. For example if you connect the negative ground lead of the multitester to the hot or ungrounded AC lead it will blow a fuse. One of the two AC line connections in grounded through a one megaohm resistor and is usually connected to the wider AC plug end. The other thinner plug end is the hot AC connection. The AC on this meter should work but I don't know how accurate it is as it is untested. The Ohm function worked. When I tested a 5 K potentimeter it tested at just under 5 on the x 1 K scale. It appeared to be within 3 percent accurate, like these meters are supposed to be. I'm not sure if the DC readings ... morecan be improved be adjusting the DC internal Pot or not. The worst case is the DC readings are low. It is being sold as is with no inplied warante or guarantee of accuracy. If it is DOA I will insure it and a refund may take a month from the carrier, Probably the USPS or UPS ground. Please ask any questions before bidding and I will try to answer them quickly. Vintage Volt and Ohm Tester - Meter / Maxon Utility Meter Model 200 w/ Manual
I got this“Maxon Utility Tester(Model 200) from an estate I bought recently. It has one set of Probe Leads and the Original Owner’s Manual. The Owner’s Manual says this meter is for testing and repairing: All Electrical Appliances and Motors· Automotive Equipment· TV Tubes including Picture Tubes I tested the meter by checking for voltage on a 12 volt DC battery and 120 volt AC and it worked good. I tested for Ohms and the meter did not move. The troubleshooting section of the Owner’s Manual says this is probably due to a defective battery and recommends replacing it. Overall both the meter and the manual are in good condition. Both show signs of age and usage. Note: the meter is missing one screw on the face in the upper right hand corner. This meter is how I found it. I'm not sure what to use to clean it so I’ll leave that ... moreup to you.
