Vintage 1950's Electro Voice 630 variant M-44A/U Dynamic microphone Signal Corps
Hello. For the hardcore collector of Electro Voice 630's harp mics.an extremely rare Rauland-Borg Corp 1246 BL variant with a unique nonswitch label/ faceplate. This is not an altered microphone. The 1246 BL came direct from the factory with this setup and it functions nicely. The Electro Voice 630 harp mic came in quite a few variants but this is one of the rarer to be produced. The cosmetic condition of this mic is extremely nice. It does have it's share of minor scratches and scuffs as seen in the pics provided but that would be expexted being that it was used for possibly many years. Otherwise. It's quite nice and has alot of character. I would rate this a conservative 8 on a scale of 1- 10. Far above avergage. Yes. It works. The signal is clear without distortion. The joint mechanism holds strong. Mic stand thread is perfect ... moreand has zero loose parts externally or internally. Own a very rare piece of American history. This is a vintage WW2 or Korean war era microphone stand. Manufactured for the US Army by the Utility Electronic Products Corp. There is only slight rust on the thumb screws and some hazing on the lower section. The rest shines. I installed three new feet to the base. This is a vintage mechanical wristwatch dating to the WW1 era. It is being relisted because the bidder Rbn1024 is unable to pay for his purchase. This watch seems to be complete and original minus the balance assembly. It is being sold as is for parts or restoration. The hinged case is nickel and it is 38 mm wide not including the crown. The case is in excellent condition. This will polish to a shine similar to that of silver if you prefer. The movement is a hand winder and it is jewelled. The band is a new replacement. There is a small section in from of the helmet where a small piece of edging is missing. The visor lining has some minor cracks and age spotting. No markings in sweat band. A very nice& Rare helmet. The estimate during the period were about 250 enlisted in the Signal Corps. The double cord on the attachment ring next to the tassel has a bit of a darker color due to someone to tried to touch up the color. The helmet cords and breast cords are the one piece. Here is a 1951 Signal Corps Keyer TG-34-A with two morse code key pads/ clickers. And a third keyer component(reciever? of some kind. This Keyer would play paper tape on film reels and play a morse code message. It has a built in speaker and output in the back of the case. The condition appears to be very good(I know nothing about how this device works) but motor runs when turned on. The case is also in very good condition with only minor scuffs. Please see photos. Image of a nuclear bomb test. Size is 11 X 14" on"EKC" photo paper. Condition is unframed. Slight waviness, minor corner bumps, small edge tear top right. Please use the close-up function to examine the photograph. Notice the tiny pucker within the mushroom cloud. I had to stitch two scans together, so please forgive the horizontal stitch line. M1872 US Army Signal Corps Sergeant's Chevron Blackw/white stripes torch & flags
I have for sale a single signal corps sergeant's stripe. Based on the 1872 stripes. This stipe was used between 1891 to 1902. This is because in 1891/1892 the signal corps changed from a branch color of orange to black stripes. Additionally, the crossed signal flags had the torch added. Based on the book Chevrons, insignia with the white flag on the right were from 1891 to 1896. From 1897- 1902, the flags were reversed. Original and Official Field Press Censor Stamped Signal Corps Photo For auction is an original 4” X 5” Signal Corps photograph taken in Hurtgen. Germany. This is not a reproduction of any era. It is an actual ETO field photo as proved by the original censor marks and initials accompanying the date of approval. The photo is in great condition considering the age. This is just one photo from a large collection that was assembled at the time it was produced by the field photo development labs and then turned over to Public Affairs and stored for many years. It has the original caption stamped on the back of the photo. A“Field Press Censor/ Passed for Publication as Censored” stamp dated Dec. 26th, 1944, and the“Passed for personal use only” stamp dated August 14, 1945. The top portion of the caption containing the photographer’s name and the ... moredate of the photo are very clear. The photographer was T/3 Roger H. Zachary of the 167th Photo Signal Company. The date of the photo was December 20th, 1944. This photo is a great shot of the town of Hurtgen Germany. A village right in the middle of a very understudied battle. The battery powered BC-709 was part of the RC-73 Interphone System used in military training aircraft which did not have an electrical system. It provided communication between the instructor and the student pilot. Manufactured by Andrea Radio Corporation. LIC, NY. Bears a 1942 contract number. This auction is for a book titled"THE 401ST TELEGRAPH BATTALION IN THE WORLD WAR" Compiled by members of the battalion. Unknown publisher, size 8" x 10 3/4" 82 pages. Cataloged by Dornbusch#2726, Controvich#5559. Contents include a detailed WWI history of the regiment. Which formed as the 5th Reserve Telegraph Battalion from the employees of the New England Telephone Company and served with the 1st Army. Narrative accompanied by numerous photographs, illustrations and maps, a nice fold-out unit portrait, individual portraits and bios of officers, full roster, etc. Condition EX with light wear and soiling to cover. Inside very clean with occasional light foxing, edge wear to fold-out portrait, binding ... moretight and holding well.
