1941 Dynamometer Voltmeter Amp Meter Sealed in Wooden Box Sensitive Research Instrument Corporation The inside of this vintage Dynamometer/ Ampère-Volt Meter/ Multimeter/Multitester from the Sensitive Research Instrument Corporation is clean. No cracks or dents, looks great but is NOT tested. Inside body of Bakelite( is completely sealed as in original. Label"Dynamometer Poly-ranger" Mirror scale. All knobs seem in fine shape and turn. Calibration certificate from 1941 and signature in lid. The outside of the wooden box has scuff marks form use over the years. Three of four the little feet are still there. The hardware(latch and hinges) are working, and the leather handle is still in place(although it is pretty dry and it may not hold this heavy box well much longer, so be careful handling it with the handle. The box has a ... morered(inventory? number painted on the front case. On the bottom there is a hairline crack in the wood- please see last two pictures. Here for your consideration is a USED POLYRANGER VOLTMETER SENSITIVE RESEARCH A-2 USED AS_IS. This unit shows some signs of wear i.e. scrapes. Scratches but nothing to interfere with the operation of device. As mention I only tested the VOLTS on this meter and its not tested 100% as I can't test millimeters. Handle on box is a little worn, frayed but still functional(see pic) Unit is being sold AS-IS condition.
