Up for auction is this WORKING B&k(BK Precision) Model 177 Vacuum Tube Volt Meter(VTVM) Included in the auction is the original PROBE and a copy of the Instruction Manual made with a laser printer/ copier. The meter was powered up and checked. DC voltage measurements were checked against my calibrated Beckman 310 DVM with 12 volts DC(see photos 8 and 9) Then the meter was switched to OHMS- see photos 10 and 11- shows the meter with clip and probe open and meter needle at right hand end of scale… the with clip and probe together and meter needle at left hand end of scale for 0 Ohms. Here we have a vintage FET VOM Multimeter made by B&K Dynascan. It is a precision industrial piece of testing equipment. The FET Field Effect Transistor gives this Volt Ohm Meter the exactness of its readings. The analog sweep needle is ultra sensitive across all functions of the meter(AC. DC, Ohms, DBM and Amps/miliamps) It has a battery on/off switch when its being used as an ohmeter or continuity tester only. The meter is in excellent condition and functions well when measuring higher amps and volts. This meter rivals the classic Simpson 260 for its exactness. Data Precision Model 175 3-1/2 digit multimeter with 40kV probe
This Data Precision Model 175 3-1/2 digit multimeter came to us along with a large amount of equipment associated with an electron microscope; it had been used in the troubleshooting of that equipment. The multimeter was kept in calibration with several trips back to Data Precision over the seven or eight years since its purchase in 1977; its last recalibration occurred in 1985. It hasn't used since then and was put in storage in year 2000. The battery pack shows no sign of deterioration. But I have no means to try to recharge it. The 40,000 volt probe that was purchased along with this multimeter is included in this lot. The warranty card and certificate of conformance are present, but I had no room to show them among the twelve images that eBay allows. There is no warranty implied or expressed.

Up for auction is a used BK Precision Model 177 VTVM Test Meter with one probe Dynascan. I am not sure if the probe is an original to the tester or not. On the probe it says"LPB-2 AC/DC OHMS PROBE" and under that it say"LEADER ELECTRONICS CORP. There is a switch that switches between AC and DC. The probe is in excellent used condition. The meter itself is in great used condition. It does have a few small scratches on it but it is used. On the back of the tester it has three holes that have screws on them for adjusting the meter. There is a chart that for the screws they are D.C. CAL. A.C. CAL. 5V. CAL. Under that line it has the numbers 2. 4, and 1. Under that it says ORDER OF CALIBRATION.
