The calibration sticker is intact and shows the last calibration date as 7/23/2011, with a calibration due date of 7/23/2012. I purchased this meter shortly after it was last calibrated. Intending it to be a backup to my other 8842A. But I've never needed it, and with an eventual move pending, much of by backup equipment is now up for sale. The Fluke 8842A is calibrated by data entry from the front panel. With no mechanical adjustments. Absent abuse, the calibrations are good for a great deal longer that the usual industrial calibration cycle of 1 year. I'm not a certified cal lab, and I can't guarantee calibration. This was my personal meter. Used in my shop, and was last calibrated in February, 2011. It became my back-up meter when I picked up an HP 34401A in 2012. It is only being sold because I don't use it or need it anymore. The last photo's show the 8842A being compared to my 34401A for AC and DC volts(sorry about the dim photo's- had to turn off the flash because it was washing out the displays) As you can see. The difference between the two meters is in the microvolt range. The 34401A is not included in the auction! It has a paper copy of the User's Manual, and the IEEE Programmers Manual. It also comes with a CD which has User AND Service manuals on board, a set of NEW CAT III probes, and power cord.
