Souvenir Vintage Pocket Knife of Seeboden Austrian, Mother-of-Pearl, 5 Functions
Vintage: Folding Pocket Knife from Seeboden. Austria This is quite a find. I know that this pocket knife is an old souvenir. Circa 1950's? This item came from an estate of a German man who traveled around Europe and had an assortment of old and odd things, that we obtained, all items were around the World War II era. This could be from the 40's, or the'50's. The handle is embellished with a type of plastic that I am familiar with. The type of plastic that was used on old accordions(the musical"squeeze box" instrument) the plastic looks like a type of mother-of-pearl. What is real neat is the picture of an old European village and the name"Seeboden" which is a place in Austria. Another unusual thing about this knife is some of the unusual functions. There are 5 separate functions. Including an approximate ... more3" blade. There is also a corkscrew, and 3 other strange looking functions that I don't know what they are(look at the photos, maybe you can determine) This might have been a specialty knife for persons who worked in a certain type of trade. One of the functions looks like a glass cutter. it is a mini-wheel that looks like the type I've seen on actual glass cutting tools. There is a small amount of superficial rust. But overall this is in remarkably good condition. For anyone who knows what they are doing, this should clean up real nice and easy, and be a great addition for any pocket knife collection. this item is old, and it is cool. I'm sure this would sell for a lot of money at a knife collector's convention. But you won't pay that much for this as we are offering this at a price waaaaaaayyyy below it's actual value. Proudly offering one of my Yashica Mat-124s. This one here is especially nice. I bought it as an alternative to the very expensive Rolleiflex 2.8. And have always been please with the results. The fixed 80mm lens produces nice depth-of-field effects for portraiture and is also just wide enough to make a good choice for street photography and scenic work. Ken Rockwell has a nice write-up on these and other medium-format TLR cameras if you're interested in more in-depth information and advice, and you can see many more examples Mat-124 film photos on Flickr. I've bought several Mat-124s over the years. And have decided to pare down and only keep my non-G" version. Vintage Italian 1930's Distressed blue paint 5 light chandelier 30's functions
Up for consideration is a fine 5 light blue painted silvered metal Italian/ John Virden Chandelier. The fixture's drop or height including the canopy is about 29 inches and it measures about 19 inches across. The piece has nice old blue distressed shabby milk paint on it from decades ago. The fixture has upgraded wiring however it should be checked before installation. The bulbs used are small chandelier bulbs. The shade covers are made of silk and are slightly distressed. Please see photos as part of the description. The candle sleeves are painted a light peach. Please note that one of photos was taken using a flash so the blue looks shiney and bright. So check out the other photos as you will see a flat blue milk which is more indicative of the piece. The fixture is missing a few curly pieces of wire on the top. The crystals are present ... moreand are shown on the table. This could be remedied by cutting a coat hanger and curing it into the desired shape and length. I may make the repairs myself. Anyways also has a fine cut glass center stem. There may be one or 2 crystals missing. There is probably over 75 tear drop hand blown prisms. These cost about 3 to 6 dollars each. The box plays five different tunes. They are shown below as best as I can read them. 2002 Tonka Semi truck crane hauler with power functions -- rare -- 16.5" long
2002 Tonka truck with crane. Missing cab cover and one of the black legs for when the truck is open. Measures about 16.5" long. The motors plug into the door area(one plug on driver side. And one on passenger) Those motors are activated by the black handles that stick up like mirrors. Motors rotate in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. These motors are used to fit into the orange marked wells. 2 are located on the right rear on the outside of the truck(1 controls round fan. 1 controls the running arrows/ turn signals) 1 on the left and 1 on the right side once opened, 1 on the crane base that rotates the crane, and 1 on the crane arm that controls the length of the rope. I do not see any scratches or fungus. Has a couple of tiny cleaning marks. No element separation. Focus rotation works properly. The little focus rotation lock is wobbly– it seems as though the screw in the base of the lock plunger is loose. Does not affect image quality. Aperture works properly.
