HP 3440A Digital Voltmeter and 3444A DC Multi Function Unit You are bidding on a wonderful. Vintage multimeter. It is modular with a 3440A and a 3444A mounted in a rack mount or portable case. It is in working condition although I did not fine tune the adjustments. I tested it with a 6 volt battery and the reading was +6.262 volts. I tested it with a 500 ohm microphone and it read 480.6 and with a 600 ohm microphone and it read 620.7. It also has an internal 8000 ohm test resistor and when that button is pushed, the readout is 8050 ohms. There are two zero adjustments. One is on the front of the 3444A unit and the other is on the back behind the 3440A unit. The exterior of the case could use a good cleaning and other than some minor scuffs, it is in great condition. There are no probes included. Vintage Micronta M-1 Midget Tester
For sale is a Micronta M-1 Midget Multi-Meter Tester. It comes in it's original box with manual. I do not know how to test these beyond making sure the needle stays in it's position even when turned on it's side. It is in ultra-clean condition. I've searched pretty extensively on EBay and the net for one exactly like this and haven't been able to. there are later models that come close. But i think this is likely a low production model. Though very. Very nice, it is not perfect. In the interest of full disclosure, after a thorough inspection I've discovered two condition issues. It appears the unit came in close proximity to some very hot wires or surface, as some minor melting of the bakelite/plastic has occurred(see photos) and the red lead needs to be re-soldered to it's wire. But the case is very solid. It has a good original cord and plug. The unit does power up& the pilot light does go on but, I have no instructions or cables to test the unit. I can tell you this: all three tubes inside test very good and all parts look clean with no leakage.
