TSG-17 100 KHz-150 MHz RF Signal Generator
I bought this generator from a seller on EBay who said it was practically new. I found the frequencies from 10 to 12 MHz. 37 to 40 MHz, and above 120MHz were dead. All the rest had beautiful sine waves. I found it had a lot of wasted space inside so l cut the chassis to about half it's size. I also installed a shielded transformer and a circuit breaker. I found the front switch only cut off the secondary of the transformer so I installed a switch in the back that cuts off all the power. When they sell new, you have to adjust the RF amplitude with a screwdriver so I installed a pot with a knob. The bands and good frequencies within those bands are as follows: Range. Frequencies that are Good. 100 KHz to 300 KHz All Good. 300 KHz to 1 MHz. All Good. 1 MHz to 3.2 MHz.
