Here is a very clean IFR model 2946A Avionics Communication Service Monitor. This is a portable unit for avionics testing of ILS. VOR, SELCAL receivers etc. It also is a general purpose spectrum analyzer with tracking generator covering the range of 100 kHz to 1 GHz. The tracking generator also has an offset feature. Has glideslope. Localizer, marker beacon and VOR test generartors built in. a very flexible unit. The operating manual and programming manual are included. There is also an BNC to N connector adapter included. The little antenna I used to test the" look and listen" feature is not included. I have not use this for it's intended aircraft function. Just as a general purpose spectrum analyzer. It's shown operating in the"look and listen" mode which demodulates the peak signal that it's tuned to. Shown ... morelistening to the FM band. I have used the tracking generator to sweep some VHF filters. It passes it's self test. I don't believe this has been used more than a few hours. It's that clean.
