Newport 835 Optical Power Meter For sale is this used Newport 835 Optical Power Meter. It is overall in pretty good cosmetic condition with the normal couple of slight scuffs on the exterior. The only real physical issue I saw was that the power cord was very worn where it comes out of the meter and should be replaced soon. See photos below for more details on physical condition. The serial# is 701. I plugged the power meter in and turned it on and it immediately powered on and both LCD displays started displaying. Unfortunately it looks like both displays have issues displaying. It looked like the top display didn't shown the top half and the bottom display didn't show the bottom half. Though that may have been normal for the bottom display. I was able to press most of the buttons and see an appropriate change in the reading on the ... moredisplay, but it was hard to read it due to the issue with the top display. K&E, Straightness of Line of Sight Collimator Model 9092-30 This is very fine example of the K&E Straightness of Line of Sight Collimator sometimes called a multiple target collimator. This is a model 9092-30 and I believe it is identical to the later K&E 71 4030 and the Brunson 4030 models. This collimator can be used to test and adjust the straightness of the line of sight of variable focus optical tooling equipment and various types of surveying instruments. A test set up is shown for reference only with a K&E alignment telescope(the additional test equipment shown is not included in this auction. Only the 9092-30 collimator is included) This type of collimator can be considered to be a basic reference standard when used properly since any residual errors in reticle position can be eliminated by rotating ... morethe collimator on it's axis by 180 degrees, repeating a mesurement and averaging the two results. A reference with a procedure for calibration of an alignment telescope will be included with the collimator. There are seven target reticles in this collimator model each at a different focus position. The reticles at zero ft. 10 ft. and Infinity are double line cross targets with measuring scales on each axis. The target reticles at 4, 25, 50, and 100 ft. are a simple double line reticle in one axis only. This unit appears to function like a new one. The optics are clear and the reticles are very clean with minimal dust specs. The original paint finish is in very good condition with some minor use marks and scratches. There is a remnant of a Boeing property sticker and some adjacent scratches where other stickers have been removed over time. Please inquire with any questions.
