Then I pushed"Fast Scan" the screen did some measuring or work of some kind and said"Laser On" again, I have no knowledge of this unit's working features so this is all way over my head) I realized later that when it said"Laser On" there was a cap on the laser head itself, so I didn't see whether or not an actual laser was coming out. Next I pushed the"Help" button which showed help topics. There was an option for"print hard copy" I tried to push that but then the unit seemed to freeze up, it wouldn't let me exit out or do anything. I powered the unit off and on again, and again I get the"Instrument Fault" so I powered it off and on again.and again the fault.
