ARC Spectrometer System with Oriel PMT Mount and Power Supply ARC Monochromator/Spectrograph Element: Model 275 This is a 0.275 meter triple grating monochromator/spectrograph that is controlled by a stepper motor. The gratings are as follows: 1200 g/mm(500 nm blaze) 300 g/mm(750 nm blaze) 150 g/mm(500 nm blaze) The interior of the unit is very clean. The gratings appear to be in perfect condition and the stepper motor works fine. The unit is set up with a side mounted PMT as the detector and an SMA fiber input(you could just as easily remove this and shine the light directly onto the input slit) The R928 PMT that was in the unit died and I have removed it. So if you want to use PMT detection, you'll have to purchase a replacement PMT. ARC SpectraDrive Stepping Motor Controller: Model 2757615 This is the separate unit that controls the ... morespectrometer. It is an old style keyboard control with function keys to set up the programming of the spectrograph. This unit seems to work fine. Although once when I started it, it did not boot up properly and I overcame it by holding down the F1 key while I turned the power on. Programmable Control Unit This is a unit that allowed us to program the spectrograph and record the PMT output using an 80486 computer. The control boards and control box(shown in the figures) will be included but I do not have the software that drives them. If I find it before the sale I'll include it but you should assume this will not be included as part of the sale and I don't know if you can find versions on the net or not. PMT 1500 V High Voltage Power Supply This will be provided with the unit along with the PMT housing. This is a basic 1500 volt unit from Oriel. You will have to purchase a high voltage BNC style cable to connect the PMT to the power supply as that will not be included.

Oriel Standard QTH Calibration Lamp Element
I don't know much about this bulb. It was purchased for use in an Oriel lamp housing that we used to provide a standardized illumination for a manufacturing process. The company was shut down and I wound up with the lamp. Not sure if its been used or not but it looks pretty pristine in appearance. From an internet search I believe its a 200 W bulb but not sure. The spec on the box says its range is 250-900 nm and it takes 6.5 amps. The bulb will come packaged in the original wooden box along with the retaining screws used to mount it in the lamp. These are being sold as a lot. I don't known if these are officially sized in english or metric units. I measure the dimensions to be 1 at 50 mm opening. 70 mm outer diameter 1 at 1.0 inch opening. 1.38 inches diameter 2 at 1.0 inch opening. 1.75 inches diameter 6 at 11 mm opening. 20 mm diameter The above opening sizes are when the aperture is fully open. The closed dimension is quite small on all of them. Probably on the order of a millimeter. A quick check online indicates similar units that are new go for $40-100.
