Giant YAG 1064nm Window, 5 inches diameter !!!
This auction is for a GIANT precision optical window that is antireflection coated for a YAG laser at 1064nm. This window is 5 inches in diameter. And 3/4 inches thick. It looks like it is made of fused silica, and came from a lot of surplus optics from Lawrence Livermore National Labs, so you know it is very precision stuff. I haven't checked the flatness, but most of the similar optics from them were lambda/10 or better. This optics is so expensive that it even has its own serial number etched into the side of the optic, as you can see in the second photo. The coatings have the characteristic yellow coloring of an antireflection coating for YAG, and I have checked that the reflections are negligible of a YAG laser beam. KTP/LBO crystal coated high power DPSS YAG 532nm 1064nm SHG in mount
KTP or LBO crystal for SHG(Single Harmonic Generation) of 1064nm to 532nm. looking closely at one of the boxes it says LBO faintly on it. These have a purplish coating on both ends and appear yellowish when looked through. These are most likely for Melles Griot 532nm lasers of the 3 watt output variety. These crystals are NOT PERFECT. they have tiny cracks in the coating on the crystals perimeter. as seen in last pic close up) Still. They should work ok as your beam will be in the middle. Dimensions are. 4.5mm long x 2.8mm x 2.8mm, or.185" long x.119" x.119" this one is a dial caliper and more accurate) These crystals are epoxied into a plated copper mount that has a little tab protrusion The mount is just under 13mm wide on the tab end.
