It was to be used to protect the laser diode from q-switched pulses being back directed into the diode pump fiber. It is designed for end pumped DPSS lasers. And could also be used to remove the pump light leftover from the DPSS beam and bend the 1064nm beam 90 degrees. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

It had only 1007 hours on the clock. It really looks almost new. I have attached a ton of pictures for your review. It has both the ND:YAG rod and used flash lamp, and flow tubes in the head. The YAG is roughly 130mm x 8.5mm. The rod appears to be perfect with no scratches or burns or any marks that I can observe. It is mounted on a carrier for rail mounting. This would make a perfect replacement head, or a great start for your own high powered laser project. Only what is in the pictures if whats included, nothing else. If its not pictured, its not included.
