Optometrics Delta 6075-0100 mini monochromator/spectrometer
This auction is for the mini monochromator shown in the pictures. It employs a single grating and a single mirror. And has to 600 micron slits. The wavelength is selected by the stepper motor, and will need a driver if you don't want to use it manually. I got it here on Ebay a couple of years ago but ended up not needing it for the particular experimentation I was doing. It works, in the sense that it does single out appropriate wavelengths of visible light, but it will have to be recalibrated. I can't remember exactly what I paid for it. But it was over $170. Oriel 1/8 meter Model 77250 Monochromator with variable slits
You are bidding on an Oriel 77250 1/8 meter monochromator. This monochromator is used. But looks in very good condition. It does contain a grating, but I am not certain about any details of the grating. Looking through the monochromator it transmits red light near 600 nm and goes through the spectrum to violet light near 400 nm. The light does become brighter at 436 nm when looking at a fluorescent lamp(a strong mercury line is at 435.8 nm) So, it appears to be fairly well calibrated. The crank is fairly smooth- except the crank is slightly harder to turn after every two rotations. I am not sure what is going on. Nothing is slipping. The slight glitch in the rotation of the crank seems to be the only thing less than perfect with this monochromator. Take a close look at the photographs and ask any question. Both input and output slits are ... morevariable up to 3.0 mm. There is also a slit height control that will eventual close the slits. The slits move very smoothly. Electro-Mechanical Lever Action for Grating ~ Jobin Yvon/ISA Monochromator
Grating Lever Mechanical lever action was pulled from a Jobin Yvon/ISA monochromator. Where it was used to rotate the grating via motors. Wire leads suggest that at least part of the design can be made electro-mechanical. Comes as shown. We pulled as much as we could from the Jobin Yvon, but you will likely need additional parts depending on your application, thus this is selling for parts value only. The main section measures 6.5" L x 1.75" H x 2.25" W. The spindle shaft next to it measures 7.5" in length and has two brackets for bolting to a surface. The brackets are loose, as shown in the final photo and the shaft ends will need to be secured back into their slots. Gear belt in good condition. Mounting bolts included. We have for sale in this auction a Jarrell-Ash Monochromator that has a Dry Nitrogen EG&G Parc attached. This is a real nice item that is in excellent used condition. The monochromator is 1200 groove. 500nm blaze with no visible finger prints and the mirrors are in great condition too. All might need cleaned if preferred. The EG&G Parc is 1455@ 700 with UV and G with calibration setting@ 708. Also it has gate in/out and MCP grain witha small CW/gate lever. This item is for DRY NITROGEN- Only- any other WILL damage detectors. The purge flow should be( 5 cubit ft.hr) which is required for proper operation.
