The part number on the bag of a previous pair I sold is 3199-81143. However. These were not in a bag. They appear new, but since they were not sealed, I am selling them as Used. There are some finger prints that them, but I cannot find any scratches or issues with the lenses. I do not know if these are the same part number as the previous pair I sold. There is a"2S" is etched on the lens. Also the number 143. XS is on the opposite side along with Z87.1 and 94.3. All of that is the same as the prior pair, although I had the prior one listed as having 84.3 instead of 94.3. Oops. The arms/ ear pieces of the glasses are adjustable. On the left ... moreear piece/ arm is hand written in silver"E20" From looking at other Glendale Glasses and the warning paper inside the case, these are designed for Laser usage. High Power Erbium Glass Q-switched Laser Safety Shutter Mechanism Fail Safe
This is a failsafe shutter mechanism for a q-switched erbium glass laser. It is put inside the cavity to completely prevent the laser from firing unless the shutter is opened. The laser was to be fired into a fiber bundle for a multi-point ignition system. Where accidental ignition would have catastrophic consequences to say the least. It has a ceramic liner to prevent damage from the high energy beam. It could be used for any solid state laser up to 9mm beam diameter as a safety device.
