GEL-0403 Laser Signal Conditioner For sale- a GEL-0403 Signal Conditioner. This appears to be a homemade product. Fortunately homemade by NASA. I believe it to be a trigger device for a laser system. The reason I say that is because I have a whole rack of GEL model number stuff. Actually more than a rack full because I think I have a few extra pieces that have floated in over the years. This however is the first piece that actually has their name printed on the back. The rack has been sitting in my warehouse for years because without a brand name on it it was impossible to do any research on it. The rack was attached to a big Sorensen DC Power Supply and was no doubt controlling a pulsed laser. Beyond that I can’t tell you too much more about it without going out to the warehouse and getting some pictures. The power supply has long since ... morebeen sold. All the other laser stuff. In addition to having GEL prefix model numbers, are a similar shade of blue. This might be a newer piece. The others perhaps faded in comparison. Again. The difference being this module has external adjustable resonator optics. Details: A HV source of 20-30 KV@ 1mA is needed since the module will not lase till about 20KV and maximum output will be a 30KV. The high voltage cable with a 1 megohm series resistor is included. The trigger generator requires 24VDC at several mA and the rep rate is adjustable from a few Hz to 20Hz. Output power is 80KW peak for a few nanoseconds and average at 20Hz is approximately 10mw. The beam is a square of several mm and is visible only because 80KW of 337nm UV laser will make just about anything fluoresce. Laser Photonics YQL-102+ Pulsed YAG Laser For sale- a Laser Photonics YOL-102+. Or maybe a YQL-102+? The label on the side of the power supply looks like YOL. But when I did a search of the internet I saw more listed as YQL, and since it is a pulsed laser perhaps the Q makes more sense. And the Sams laser website. Which I think is a reputable source of information, refers to it as the YQL-102, but that is a 102 not a 102+, and the 102 looks decidedly older than the 102+ I am offering here. I thought that perhaps I could actually fire this thing up since the PS only requires 110VAC. But I saw somewhere in my research that it needs deionized water as the coolant and I don’t know where I might get that nor do I know how you would go about refilling it. The first time I powered up the PS the hoses squirted water everywhere so the pump at least ... moreis working. I don’t like to run pumps dry so the picture of the PS with the POWER indicator light on was taken as soon as I switched it on and immediately powered off. As you can see the sale includes the cable that goes between the laser head and the PS and the coolant hoses. I have not attached the laser head to the PS and given the power output of the laser would be reluctant to do so. And I think these require some sort of trigger input and I know nothing about how to do that. So it is untested other than for power(and the pump) and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
