I am offering the Clark-MXR DT505 controller displayed in the photo for restoration. This precision device was parted from a scientific apparatus and is an earlier version of the Clark-MXR controller used with the Clark-MXR ultrafast laser systems. Not having a manual and the associated equipment to thoroughly test the unit. This unit is hence offered untested& for restoration. The master clock generator for shutter timing& sequencing will likely require servicing& calibration to bring the unit back up to manufacturer's specification. Otherwise with the unit powered on& the HV multi-turn control at the 818 setting. 2.81kV is measured at channel 1& 3.25 kV i s measured at channel 2 using a 40 kV voltage divider probe- see photos. No voltage was measured across the HV Test Point. The multi-turn HV counter control dial ... moredoes not turn easily and is likely damaged. So it was left at the 818 setting- see photos. Besides this one mechanical defect. It powers up as you can see, and it appears to be completely responsive to the controls. Couple of things to note. First. The SENSOR OPEN LED under the TEC display flashes off and on. As no sensor is attached I don’t find that to be unexpected. And the OUTPUT SHORTED LED under the Laser display stays on as you can see in the picture. Hopefully that is simply because no laser is attached. But I leave it up to you to decide if that is an issue or not. I didn’t notice until after I was looking at the pictures.
