Temp Controlled Sapphire Window Cell Module FTIR Machine IR Optics Part
This is an odd one. It is a 2 piece heated aluminum shell with a thermistor. And sapphire windows installed. The sapphire windows have a 3mm aperture. I am unsure exactly what this part was for, but my best guess is that it probably was for some sort of reference, error correction or calibration function since it has only one hole for gas input. This item is pretty hard to find. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.

I don't know much about this kind of test equipment, but did try to do a few things with it to show it ... moredoes fire up and does do some things. Comes with the Tektronix lid that goes over the screen and knobs to protect it when in transit. The handle can be moved and locked into different positions for varying degrees of readability. One side has the original metal push button missing(pic 7) but there is a stub still there that when pressed, will allow for the handle to be moved. I plugged it in and turned it on and it went through some tests, and I saw where it did pass some kind of test, and then went on to another screen. I did push a few buttons and took some shots of different screens that came up. The display is very colorful and sharp, so CRT is in great shape. I did push the HARD COPY button and it did print off the screen shot of the info I had up on the screen at the time. I did move the cursor at one point too. Sticker on the back says it has options 11 and 16. I believe the option 16 is the printer, but don't know what option 11 is at this time. It might be the OTDR Optics module, that is installed on the front panel, but I can't be for certain. This came in a very worn out soft case that is in sad shape, but it does hold the FiberMaster and keeps it in nicely. Th

This is an odd one! The sensing element of this detector is carbon monoxide gas itself. This is a high range sensor meaning that the% CO inside the cell is Higher then the high range sensor. It was part of combustion efficiency regulator for a gas fired power plant. It has sapphire windows that pass mid IR light. And internally it is two cells with a precision pressure transducer that measures the pressure change between the cells. When mid IR light passes through it, the gas inside absorbs the light heats up and expands This makes it give a large signal for a very small percentage of gas. This is a synrad laser engraver scan head. It has 2x CT-6210L galvos with BROAD BAND protected silver mirrors. The galvo driver amplifiers, and a simple computer board. It needs + 15 and- 15V and +30V to work. This scan engine worked when removed from service. If desired you can remove the galvo drivers and galvo scan head and build a very nice laser light show machine with this item. This item is very hard to find. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week. Just a heads up, several people notified me of trouble bidding near the end of listings, to avoid this disappointment, if you actually NEED this item either bid what you think it's worth early, or Buy it now outright.
