Sacher Lasertechnik MLD1000 Lasertex Controller& TEC Diode Lasers For sale- a Sacher Lasertechnik MLD 1000 Lasertex Laser Controller and a pair of laser heads. Models TEC100 and TEC500. The controller is in excellent physical condition as I think you can see in the pictures. So you can imagine my disappointment when I plugged in the AC and absolutely nothing happened. Turns out there is a keyed interlock on the back and I don’t have the key. So I had to open it up and jumper around the key switch. Which is all it took to light it up. But with the wires hanging out the back I didn’t want to attempt turning it around and taking the picture from the normal direction with a backdrop. It also explains why there are tools lying around and screws loose. So either A) you will have to find a replacement key. Or B) you will have to replace the ... moreentire key lock mechanism, or C) you will have to jumper around it, hopefully with a bit more professional results than I achieved. It isn’t hard to find some documentation on the TEC100. Which Sacher describes as a Littrow Extended Cavity Laser. That may mean something to you. Means absolutely nothing to me, just so that you grasp my lack of expertise here. The TEC500 I find described as a Littman/Metcalf Tunable Diode Laser. No idea what the difference between them is other than the obvious physical size. As you can see in the last picture I have not one but three of the TEC500 diode laser modules. IF you would prefer to have two TEC500 instead of the 100/500 combo I can live with that. Because of the delicate wiring situation I didn’t bother trying to“play around” with the controller too much. And not having any of the associated cables I made no effort to connect the controller to either of the diode lasers. So other than powering up the controller the system is completely untested.
