Coherent Dye Laser Pieces For sale- several Coherent Dye Laser Gizmos. I think. Let me start with what I know. I know that the pieces as you see them have no markings on them. They are in padded cases with the Coherent logo on them. One of the two cases has a piece of tape marked“Dye Pump” But two of the three pieces are clearly optical components. I opened them up and as you can see there is a prism or some other beam splitting device. And one of the two is fitted with a filter. But I cannot for the life of me understand how they would fit into the beam path. There is the capped tubular in but no out. Initially I thought maybe they were dye containers but I can’t imagine that you would put the nasty dye into a piece with optics. So that probably isn’t the case. There is one of the three that is smaller and has no optics. But not much room ... morefor dye either. It occurs to me now that perhaps the cylindrical cover on the two is just that. A cover that you would remove to insert the optical device into the beam path. Then maybe they make sense as a beamsplitter of some sort. But I have no idea what the application would be and of course I have no way to test them. And NO warranty is offered. However. This is a used beam expander for a 532nm and 1064nm ophthalmic laser made by Lumenis Medical. This is in really good condition. There are some burn spots on the outside ring on one end. This is an extremely short focal length lens for directing the beam from a 20W Green DPSS yag laser onto a titanium sapphire crystal. The lens will work with beams up to 1/4 inch diameter and has a very short focal length of only about 5 mm. The lens would also work well for sending the beam into an optical fiber as well. Small Helium Neon HeNe Gas Laser Tube Science Fair Project Part Red Beam 632.8nm
This item is a very small helium neon laser tube. It still works fine and is one of the smallest working hene tubes I've ever seen. This tube needs about 1.000V at 3.5 to 4mA to operate. It would make a nice science fair project if put into a clear plastic case so the tube can be seen running. The first picture is without flash on, the last one is with the flash on. The beam is bright compared to most cheap laser pointers, and is a much prettier shade of red. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

Small Broad Band UV Green Laser Polarizing Beam Splitter Combiner Cubes 4mm Lot
These are small laser beam splitter cubes used to combine near IR. Red and Yellow with Green, Blue, Violet, or near UV or split a laser beam into separate polarizations. They work as beam splitters from 400nm to 543nm and will take up to a 500mw of laser power without a problem. The pass 585 to near IR with a small attenuation. You could combine the beams from say a red laser at 655nm, and the violet at 405nm to make a nuclear flamingo pink or purple beam, or combine a 445nm beam with a 532nm beam for a color similar to argon laser blue. They work well with argon lasers. These are very handy optics to have around. I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.
