We have for sale an ISA Instruments HR-320 Spectrograph Monochromator this is a nice unit which has all the glass intact but no top cover is available. It does have a kinematics entrance and a kinematics exit with a slide slits that works great and a 1200 g/mm blaze. The wavelength is manual with a(24-25 cm) focal length or(9 ¾ to 9 7/8th inches) It also has a BEI Encoder attachment#L256-F3-250-AZC-8830-SC18 and a Beager Lahr 0180C with IW=75A. RW= 4 Ohms, RDM 566/50, IP 54, 0.72 degrees/0.36degrees. But the all in all. It looks to be a useable piece which has not been tested and that will need to be cleaned and greased with dimensions of(13 ¼ x 8 ½ x 7 inches tall) and wt. of 22 lbs. We have for sale a Jobin Yvon Spex Cat No. 1681C Monochromator by ISA Instruments. This unit has: a manual wavelength counter, a monchromator controlled entrance slit that works nicely, has a port where a detector was attached, has No exit slit just the port hole, it is not computer controlled, it is kind of clean and the mirrors look nice but a cleaning is reconmended. The gratingis: a 5cm/5cm, has suffered some damage(light scratches and a bump marks) with loss of about 20% which can be purchased at Edmund Optics with a more reasonable replacementis) it is not sticker but the fraction pattern looks to be about 1200-1800g/m defrated helium neon laser@ 632.8 nm. Also the dimensions of this particular item are(14 x 9 ¼ x 10 inches high) and wt. of 23 lbs. ISA Instruments Double Subtractive Monochromator Dual Grating 1800g/mm Jobin/Yvon ISA Instruments unit is Model DHR-320. A Double Subtractive Monochromator which, according to the original catalog"Offers extreme stability, reproducibility, and zero tracking error in a double subtractive configuration. Dual grating. Listed on unit as 1800g/mm. Looks like a nice model, but we have no way of testing and are selling for parts or repair only, priced accordingly. Below are our observations. They are intended to be helpful, but we are not experts. Again, this is parts/repair only. Not guaranteed to be in working condition. CONDITION Interior in overall good. Clean cosmetic condition. Some dust. Both gratings are present and look to be in decent shape. No fingerprints. One of the gratings has a faint partial ring of dusty residue. All other ... moreoptics we can access look good. We don't attempt to clean gratings or metallic mirrors. We opened the mechanical compartment to photograph it(Photo#6) The casing(Photos#2 and#9) came to us without the screws to close it. So we used some from our shop to secure the main corners. Exterior has scratches and cosmetic wear from age and use. The rim of one of the DB-9 connectors is a little dented. Entrance/exit hardware is not present. There are only 3 mirrors at the end opposite the gratings and we don't know if the hole shown in the photos is supposed to be another entrance exit. Or if there should be 4 mirrors. The square cover plate to enclose that end is either not present, or the entire unit was meant to be joined to another. Electro-Mechanical Lever Action for Grating ~ Jobin Yvon/ISA Monochromator
Grating Lever Mechanical lever action was pulled from a Jobin Yvon/ISA monochromator. Where it was used to rotate the grating via motors. Wire leads suggest that at least part of the design can be made electro-mechanical. Comes as shown. We pulled as much as we could from the Jobin Yvon, but you will likely need additional parts depending on your application, thus this is selling for parts value only. The main section measures 6.5" L x 1.75" H x 2.25" W. The spindle shaft next to it measures 7.5" in length and has two brackets for bolting to a surface. The brackets are loose, as shown in the final photo and the shaft ends will need to be secured back into their slots. Gear belt in good condition. Mounting bolts included.
