This is a 3 element glass collimator lens assembly removed from a medical laser. The lens has a 2 mm input aperture and a 7mm output aperture. The focal length is very short to allow capture of nearly all the laser diode's light. It is designed for Near IR to 860nm and visible red laser diodes to 635nm. The laser diode must be mounted in a separate heat sink. It is pretty hard to find I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.

12in Diameter Optical Glass Flat BK7 Lens mirror Blank and Aluminium mount 12"
Glass is 12.000 in diameter and 1.492 thick. Weight 15lb 15oz. It is optically clear and in excellent condition almost perfect, no scratches, a couple tiny surface specks on each side can not tell if they are pits, dirt, just in the coating.probably not worth mentioning. I'm guessing the glass is BK7 or similar type judging by its density and can not pass 254nm light, but only a guess. One side has a faint coating, looks like a faint reflective coating maybe 5% reflectance but unknown coating. The flat came out of a large NASA device called a Starfield generator. The glass is a flat but do not know it's grade of flatness so might only be good for mirror/lens blank. The mount is aluminium and weight is 9lb. Large Coated Plano-Convex Glass Lens (#BLBL11)
Up for sale is a Large Coated Glass Plano-Convex Lens. In good condition with two minor issues. The first issues is a tiny cut along the edge, which somehow put little particles in the glass near the cut. You can barely see them in second to last picture and I don't think it effects usage at all. The second is a smaller than gnat sized spot on the underside of the lens, which you can see in the last picture. It doesn't effect usage but you can see it when looking through the glass(barely) However, it's a great lens, a little over an inch thick, over two inches in diameter and weighs 206 grams.
