Lot of 5 HUGE Vintage Edmund Scientific Condenser Lenses
First let me say that other then the measured size(in inches) and being made out of real glass by Edmund Scientific I know nothing about these types of lenses. I got these as part of a box lot at a antique auction and other than thoughts of Land of the Giant's sized ants. Olympic disc competitions, finding a new galaxy and maybe bending light, I had no clue. I'm told they are very valuable due to their huge size, used in enlargers and scientific applications, but I really don't know. Likely even some Steam Punk applications. The two largest sizes measures 6" across and weights almost two pounds each(beefy) The Medium two measure 4.5 inches across and the single small one measures 3.5 inches across. One of the large lenses appears to have a slight tint to it also(see pic) Due to the weight of these it's best to mail Medium ... moreflat rate.
