Ultra Lasertech CO2 Laser Heads For sale- a couple of old Ultra Lasertech CO2 Laser Heads. Using the term heads is a bit of an overstatement perhaps. Please read the listing carefully to see what you are buying. I have two Ultra Lasertech Head assemblies. A model 8823L and an 8122. The 8823L is missing all the internal glass laser components as you can see in the pictures. The 8122 has the laser glass in place but it looks like a piece is probably broken off of it as you can see in one of the pictures. The 8122 is the one with the body made out of plexi. Which is pretty cool except for the fact that a few chunks of the plexi are broken. Given the condition the lasers are sold for parts or repair only. And I will not accept a return under any circumstances. I assume that if anybody wants these it will be as collectors items. As I have never ... moreseen any other products from Ultra Lasertech before. Both pieces date to 1980 and 81 which is really old even by surplus standards. But WAIT! There’s more! I also have an Ultra Lasertech 8123 CO2 laser tube. Just the glass tube only, that looks like it is intact. So perhaps you might. And that is a really BIG might, perhaps you might be able to take all three pieces and make one functional laser out of it. Might. Except of course that NO electronics are being offered in the package. I am selling these as one lot because I don’t really have any interest in selling them off one piece at a time. I bought these quite awhile back in a larger lot. I didn’t realize until after the purchase how rough they looked. If you only want one of the pieces I will consider offers. Otherwise the price is pretty firm just because of the time involved in dealing with a freight shipment. Obviously if you only want the 8123 tube that could be packed to survive fedex ground shipment. This is a motor with a small germanium optic inside it. The optic is highly reflective to CO2 laser light. And may possibly be a mechanical q-switch for a CO2 laser or other similar device. It could be used as an optical chopping or scanning element for a FTIR spectrometer or similar device as well. It was originally used with some type or spectrometer for measuring the concentration of many kinds of gases in the atmosphere using a pulsed q-switched CO2 laser as the excitation source. The corner cube is mounted on voice coil quite similar to the ones used on those dinner-plate sized mainframe computer hard drives. I really don't want to know the original cost of this part. I have had these a long enough time I forgot what they came out of. There is what looks like dirty water spots on the mirrors. I did not try to clean them for fear of scratching them. Cosmetically it's in excellent condition. And truly it feels like a germanium lens but I'm not sure that those are used in CO2 lasers, even industrial ones(which is where this came from) so I guess it's silicon-based. However, if I'm wrong and it is germanium someone is getting a good deal for sure. Regarding returns. Lumenis Coherent Ultrapulse 5000C CO2 Laser w/Foot Pedal and Lenses
Up for sale is a Coherent Ultrapulse 50000C with a foot pedal and some lenses. Overall it is in very good cosmetic and functioning condition. I had to switch out the end of power plug with one that would fit my socket in order to test it. So if the buyer would like, I can switch back to the one previously. It was basically just unscrewing the wires and putting them into a brand new socket, screwing them back in and poof, good to go. It cranked up just fine and shot out a nice healthy laser. Then I looked down to see I could crank it up even higher, so I may have gotten it up to a few watts before getting nervous that it was pointed at the wall and shut it down. The short version is that this unit looks good and performs well. Coming down to shipping. Its a couple hundred pounds and is on wheels, so freight is about the only answer unless ... moresomeone wants to pick it up locally. If freight, I can get it on a pallet, strap it down and wrap it in plastic wrap, then get it to a loading area with a bay door, but the buyer and I will need to get the shipping costs squared away together so it can be coordinated properly. Its not a big deal, just easier to do with good communication vs me hoping someone will be there for the driver on delivery day. So with all of that being said. PSI LP-60 CO2 Laser
This is a light duty pulsed CO2 laser. Per the manual. It will supply a train of pulses@ ~250 mjoules max. at ~ 8 HZ. It is a class III-b, not a class IV laser, which is a much reduced safety hazard. It is not a substitute for trophy shop CW scanning lasers. It is a flowing gas laser, not a sealed tube type, which is why I bought it. For convenience, it runs on wall current(115V, 60 Hz) and is air cooled, making it an excellent choice for light applications, science project, and hobby work. My intentions were for fine drilling for miniature electronic circuit prototypes and sculpting wax and plastic masters for subsequent casting in metal. Neither use materialized, so the unit is now for sale. The manual is included and gives complete instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and adjustment. Coherent Protected Gold Laser Optic Mirror & Mounting MM-2 Co2 Erbium Yag
This is a 1 inch diameter gold laser mirror with a mounting similar to a MM-2. It was used with an erbium laser originally. But since it is a gold mirror, it will work from red through the mid IR band, even 1064nm CO2 laser light. This is a nice optic. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.
