These work great with plastic scintillators, but they are high resolution PMTs, so combining with a spectrometry quality scintillator crystal will provide a great detector for gamma spectrometry use. These tubes are very similar to the high performance Hamamatsu R6233 I sell. But in a more compact low-profile format. They do require slightly more HV voltage than the R6233, but work very well at a range of voltages between 800 and 1400 volts. Ships with the Hamamatsu Data Sheet AND fully illustrated instructions for modifying the voltage divider. In other listings to follow.
