Heathkit RF-1 Signal Generator in Excellent Calibrated Condition(The RF-1 is the same as the Heathkit IG-102 with a different color front panel. Internal construction and operating specs are identical. This Heathkit signal generator is in excellent condition. It has been completely checked out and the Heathkit calibration procedure performed. This generator works very well and puts out a stable modulated signal from the AM broadcast band up to 22 MHZ which was the highest frequency I could check with my SW receiver. I was able to check the frequency output up to about 70 MHZ with my bench counter and it worked very well to that range. The generator is very accurate and I have included a few pictures showing its output into an HP counter. The internal 400 HZ modulation works very well. All chassis components have been checked out and the tubes ... morewere checked and found to be strong. The old filter capacitors have been replaced with new equivalent components. Out of tolerance resistors have been replaced. All controls operate perfectly and all pots and switches have been cleaned with contact cleaner. The Heathkit calibration procedure has been performed and this unit is very accurate. The attenuation controls work properly and provide an infinite range of output attenuation. As you can see in the pictures this RF-1 is in excellent cosmetic condition and looks and works very well. The case is in exceptional condition. There are no scratches. Rust, paint loss or other signs of abuse. There are no names, numbers, or other previous user added etched or painted symbols. see pictures) The knobs and handle are in excellent condition. HP 8657A RF Signal Generator. 0.1-1040MHz, Guaranteed completely broken!
Do you love a challange? Maybe tearing your hair out? If so. You'll just love this thing! Here is an HP 8657A RF Signal Generator. It's supposed to put out an RF signal from 0.1 to 1040MHz. This one definitely does NOT do that! Oh. It's not that it doesn't output at all, It does. But what it outputs is less of a clean signal, and more of what appears to be RF interference. Yup. It's broken! Think you can fix it? You're a better technician than I. Or at least more optimistic. I've tried troubleshooting it for days. But I really couldn't get much farther than the Attenuator, which does appear to be working. I didn't seem to be getting any signal from the A6 output board. But my scope only goes up to 50MHz, and without a Freq counter, I could only get so far. The power supply board seems to be working well. ... moreWithout much noticeable ripple. So that's not it. There were no obviously blown up/ melted/ exploded/ imploded parts inside. And all the boards are in nice cosmetic shape. This unit does have some nice parts though. The optional High Stability Timebase seems to be working OK. The first scope display shows the clean 10MHz signal coming from it. The other displays are what it's outputting. I'm no expert. But I'm pretty sure this output is NOT normal! Cosmetically. It's ok, not great. Has assorted scuffs and paint chips around the front frame, and a scrape in the front panel under the Address/Local key. It's missing the handles and feet. Guaranteed to to be broken! Good luck! At least I'm not trying to pass it off as"untested" Unit will be packed well. And insured.

This is an RCA Signal Generator. Model WR-49A. The front and back panels are aluminum and the body is gray painted steel. The cabinet size is 10 ½ in. wide x 6 in. deep. The upper frequency indicator window coves the range from 1.6 to 30 mHz in 3 scales. The lower one covers 85 to 1600 kHz in 3 scales. There are knobs for coarse and fine attenuation. Frequency range switch(6 positions) Mod. AF, tuning, and off/modAF/cw. There are HI and LO RF outputs and AF in/out. A 40 in long dual plug cable is included. I have no way of testing it so it is offered as/is. The pilot light operates when switched on so it is receiving power and the power cord is good. The handle is good. This is a vintage Heathkit model# SG-6 RF Signal Generator. I received it as part of a large lot of used Amateur Radio and electronic test equipment. It appears to be in good condition and work okay. But because of its age it is sold as-is- it may need recalibration or other maintenance performed. It has scuffs and scratches typical for a unit of this vintage. The only testing I did was to select some frequencies on my ICOM IC-761 HF/Shortwave Receiver, and I was able to hear the output of this signal generator on the Receiver, as I turned the SG-6's frequency dial to match that of the HF Receiver. The SG-6 Signal Generator has a built-in audio tone generator. And it will also accept an external tone or modulation source, or provide output of the internal tone generator for use with other test equipment. IFR 1000A Communications Service Monitor, RF Signal Generator
This is a used. Not functioning IFR service monitor. We have owned it for over 25 years and it always worked great, but about 3 months ago, it stopped working, blowing either the AC line fuse or the DC fuse, depending on which source you used. The oven light comes on until you turn on the power, then the fuse blows. I disconnected the internal battery, in case that might have failed, but it made no difference. I am retiring, and have another monitor, so I am not looking to repair this one. My loss could be your gain. It includes the front cover and both the AC and DC power cables. The battery is old and probably not serviceable. We used it on the bench and never used it. The unit is clean, considering it's age. The gaskets are dried out, but the face and case are not scuffed up.

TSG-17 100 KHz-150 MHz RF Signal Generator
I bought this generator from a seller on EBay who said it was practically new. I found the frequencies from 10 to 12 MHz. 37 to 40 MHz, and above 120MHz were dead. All the rest had beautiful sine waves. I found it had a lot of wasted space inside so l cut the chassis to about half it's size. I also installed a shielded transformer and a circuit breaker. I found the front switch only cut off the secondary of the transformer so I installed a switch in the back that cuts off all the power. When they sell new, you have to adjust the RF amplitude with a screwdriver so I installed a pot with a knob. The bands and good frequencies within those bands are as follows: Range. Frequencies that are Good. 100 KHz to 300 KHz All Good. 300 KHz to 1 MHz. All Good. 1 MHz to 3.2 MHz.
