Item pictured and tested is actual item offered. I applied 18v to the oven terminal and it drew about an amp. Then after some time the current dropped to around 200 ma. The unit became uncomfortably hot. The 15v oscillator terminal needs about 0.6A. The picture showing fm is the result of applying 2vpp 1kHz to the control voltage port. It is possible to mechanically tune the oscillator frequency from about 8.6 to 8.7 GHz using the tuning cap under the hex screw near the power terminals.
