This is a Marconi 2024 Signal Generator with problems. It covers 9 kHz to 2.4 GHz. We acquired it with some other equipment at an auction. And our technicians have discovered several problems. We use these things but we do not fix them, so if you can either use it"as-is" or fix the problems this may be a great bargain. The display has some lines through it which make it difficult, but not impossible to read. You can see the picture for details. In addition, the 1 and 5 buttons are not reliable and the output changes amplitude by up to 5 dBm without warning. There are no options installed. Then I hit the auto tracking Button( shift Peak) and after that the error goes away and the unit looks good. Frequency is right on and so is the power but when you get to about 20 GHz the unit goes unleveled till you turn it down to about-2dbm then it seems oK. But there may be something wrong. Unit seemed to work good from 10MHz-18GHz but the fault light will come on and you have to do Auto tracking cal. again. Unit also has Option 005 Rear output without Attenuator Also has option 006 and 007 I have shown picture at various frequencies with power out on a Power meter and also hooked up to a Spectrum Analyzer.
