Frequency range is 1 KHz to 520 MHz in 1 KHz steps(with a vernier that allows about +/ 5 KHZ variable tuning around the dialed-in frequency) Output voltage is 1 V rms down to.03 uV rms. The signal generator will maintain frequency lock up to about 560 MHz(better than the 520 MHz spec) Has internal FM and AM modulation; also allows connection of external modulation signals and an external frequency reference. Wavetek Model 3000 Signal Generator. For Parts. Servicable? THE GOOD: The unit powers up. None of the LEDs on the 4 modules that have them are lighted. The front panel attenuator works as far as I can tell. The front LEDs work. see the pictures) The case sides. Top and bottom are in pretty good shape given normal usage. The inside is very clean. THE NOT SO GOOD: The frequency of the output is not what is shown on the selector switches but it is stable. There is a note on the M172 module stating that it has a problem. The front panel attenuator dial plate is cracked in 2 places. That is all the testing/checking I have done to it. This sig gen has been sitting in my storage room for a long time. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS.
