This is the one to have. All three options give a variable modulation source. Reverse power protection and range doubler for a 512 to 1024 MHz top range. Everything seems to work with good accuracy. The only non-operational item is one of the modulation scale back-lights is burnt out. An instrument this old will have plenty of scuffs and scrapes, but HP built these like battleships, so there is nothing serious. I included a power cord and a BNC adapter on the RF OUT. BTW. The three spectrum analyzer traces depict FM, AM, and CW, respectively. The CW is clean on all ranges.

Unit powers up, produces RF, and the internal leveling and attenuator works fine. the Uncal output is missing the center conductor of it's"N" connector, it is also missing the affixed cap. The three external modulation input BNC connectors are slightly bent. easy fix. There is also a pretty big ding in the right rear top corner(see picture) No feet or bale is included. Power cord is of the newer configuration and one will be included. All in all, this would be a great repair unit, or a great unit to use for parts. Normal scuffs and marks from use. Other ok tests: 500Mhz-10dBm 500Mhz-70dBm 10.1Mhz-10dBm Performed self test on ram. Rom and battery and these tests pass. The buttons work ok on the first press. There are a few horizontal lines on the display that should not be there. But they do not cause a readability issue. May need calibration. Does not include cables and power cord.
