It comprises an additional broadband I/Q modulator which is able to generate any digital signal in conjunction with an external I/Q source. The R&S SMV03 Signal Generator generates all kinds of I/Q modulated signals using the integrated vector modulator. Owing to its wide I/Q bandwidth of 50 MHz. The SMV03 is also optimally suited for applications using high data rates such as WLAN standards.
