This machine incorporates a heat seal unit which is located at the entry end of the closer. It consists of 37-1/2" spring loaded heater bars designed to seal polyethylene inner liners. FOR SALE: Used Impulse Heat Sealer. TEW Electric Heating Co. LTD. Model TISH-100. 4” bag sealer. Adjustable timer, 110Volt AC, 180 Watts. This sealer is in working condition but shows signs of wear from regular use. The insulated ribbon that covers the heating element is eroded on one end. I adjusted the ribbon such that it does not impair the operation. But it will need to be replaced eventually. I have used this sealer for over 20 years and never had a problem with it other than replacing the heating element and insulated cover ribbon. A replacement parts kit is available from McMaster Carr for $10.26. Price of a new sealer from McMaster is $72.50. I no longer have a need for this unit since I purchased a 12 sealer about 5 years ago.
