VERTROD MODEL 24PR PNEUMATIC HEATED BAG SEALING MACHINE
I applied power and air and the sealer dropped. Heated and sat there until I pressed the foot pedal. The foot pedal seems to work backwards from logic, it pulls down and heats when your foot isn't on it. I messed with the dials, the heat and repeat seem to work, the dwell I'm not so sure. As I did the foot thing the sealer went up and down, but as I played with it it popped one of the 1/8" hoses marked, here- on the photo. It is just the tubing that popped. It needs love but I only want $100 for it. The $100 is because the base is worth that to me for a router table. I can strap to a pallet and we have a forklift if you want to schedule a pick up. But you take care of all arrangements. When the auction ends she gets stripped and recycled. I can strip the parts and box if that is what you want, but same $100. This is a Vertrod 15MG-3/8 Heat Sealer. This machine has performed us flawlessly during it's time of service but now we are moving on to faster machines for our seed packets. It has perfectly sealed everything from small foil/mylar seed packets to super heavy duty mylar bags for 6 1/2 gallon buckets. It has a new heat element. Rubber bumper and teflon covers for the heat and pressure bar. Also included FREE is a spare custom made Telfon cover for the heat bar and a rubber bumper and heat element! The time for heat and pressure are both individually fully adjustable from 0-10 seconds to adjust for ANY type bag or whatever you might be sealing. This machine also has the capability to have a small pump and tubing attached for a WATER COOLED operation for serious industrial production. fittings are already attached and have had the integrity ... moretested for that operation. It works great with or without the water cooling. There is also a foot pedal for hands-free operation of the sealer so you can have both hands free for any kind of operation you may be doing. These machines were built to last a lifetime and it shows.
