ABC Office 18" Shrink Wrap Bag Sealer This bag sealer was used for about three years and worked perfectly. Our math estimates that it has only been used for about 2 hours of straight sealing time during those three years(we seal about 10 items per day multiplied by 3 seconds per seal, multiplied by 260 business days per year = 2 hours) Recently the timer circuit failed. And now the heating wont click on because of it. The 4th photo shows the small timer circuit board, which is likely a very inexpensive part. We just didn't have time to fix it, and we wanted a smaller bag sealer anyway. We also had recently purchased a full maintenance kit for the machine which we never got to use(see 5th photo) We paid about $45 for it. Everything else about the machine is in great condition. Shanklin HS-4 high speed shrink wrap sealer & Servosync harmonic infeed
Shanklin HS-4 high speed shrink wrapping sealer with Shanklin servosync harmonic lugged infeed. Model H2054B. Sealer serial number H9519 and infeed H9519. Machine build in 1995. It is currently not running. It needs a new PLC. Allen Bradley SLC500, because the old one has memory problems. There was a new one available at another ebay site for $600.00. The eprom is good and the program can be accessed. DTAM seems to work OK. If you are familiar with Allen Bradley PLC's, you can fix this. The infeed electrical cabinet has a broken relay socket which would be easy to replace. One of the rubber rollers the film feeds around has turned gummy and should be replaced. The sealer infeed vacuum belt also needs to be replaced. But the belt around the seal bar looks OK. The HS-4 has a static bottom seal and hot wire end seal. Speed is up to 180 packages ... moreper minute depending upon package size. Size range: Minimum 2" W x 3" L x 3/8" H Maximum 16" W x 15" L x 3" H Maximum flat film width 40" Electric 460 volts. 1 phase, 13 amps. Needs compressed air also. Machine looks to be complete except for the above. And comes with several forming heads.Good opportunity for someone familiar with Shanklin equipment.
