Vintage Working Bostich Foot Operated Carton Stapler
Vintage Industrial/ Commercial Bostitch Foot Operated Carton Stapler. The machine seems to operate fine. I uploaded some pics of some staples I put in a cardboard box. When I step on the pedal. Everything is smooth and easy. The only thing I question is that after pushing the pedal to insert a staple, another staple doesn't automatically load. You have to manually slide the row of staples forward to load the next one. I don't know if it is missing a spring or if it supposed to be that way. I have used similar equipment that was designed to make you manually load it so you couldn't go too fast and possibly get injured, so I am not sure. This is a mechanical unit.
