This 8341B is in good shape. It has been NIST calibrated with a 2 year cycle in July of 2013. It does have a few small dings in the top cover as well as some black marker writing that I could not get out. The 8341B synthesized sweep generator offers superior resolution of 1 to 3 Hz over the frequency range of 10 MHz to 20 GHz. Output is generated by an indirect synthesis technique that yields low single-sideband phase noise. This makes the 8341B an excellent source for use in conjunction with microwave network analyzers like the HP 8510B. The indirect synthesis technique also gives the 8341B a very fast CW switching time of typically better than 35 ms. A fast phase-lock feature can also be enabled to give switch times between 11 and 22 ms depending on absolute frequency and step size. Long term stability is excellent at 1x10-9/day. Up for auction is used HP 8672A Synthesized Signal Generator 2.0-18.0 GHz. This has option 008 installed. I have powered this up. I do not have the means to test it further. The on/off switch does not turn the unit off. The unit is always in the on setting. The ALC switch handle has sheared off. I was not able to change the frequency numbers on the right side but pushing any of the command switches or buttons. There are some signs of wear such as surface scratches and sticker residue. This will need a standard power cord. Please refer to the pictures for more detail.

Its very accurate with the Freqs and attenuations. It also has the GPIB option if you need PC control for a tester. It does have handles on the back for easy transport. It does not come with the spectrum analyzer or an AC cord( it uses the standard PC type power cord available anywhere) The small ding in the plastic over the display came from My son who shot a BB gun in the house and the display took the ricochet.
