Dahle paper trimmer - Germany - 508 vintage
This Dahle paper cutter is lightweight and easy to move. It is made in Germany. I think the newer 508 models look a little different. The cutting bed is 18" long. This is a great tool for anyone who wants to do quick precise cutting of paper. I'm not sure if it has all the parts it is supposed to have and if it functions in the way it is supposed to function. I put some paper in it and tested it and the blade is very sharp. It cuts paper very well. The cutter wheel moves in both directions. It is guaranteed. If you receive it and it is not all there. Very nice. Light weight paper cutter made by X-Acto. The body is made out of plastic with the cutting edge, paper guide, blade and safety latch made out of metal. The surface area is 12" by 12" and it is also marked in centimeters. The blade is sharp, I tested it with several sheets at one time and it cut through very well. It weighs 3 1/2 pounds. It's not an industrial strength paper cutter but is great for small office type, or home use. It came from an estate sale and doesn't look like it's been used much.
