Paper cutter antique trimmer vintage Premier Chicago guillotine shears wood. A neat old Premier brand Photo Materials Co. paper cutter. I’m not sure if it’s vintage or antique. It has a grid and a ruler on top and bottom. It has marks and scuffs from use over the years. It’s on the large size. I measure the base to be about 16 inches by 16 inches. I measure the blade to also be about 16 inches long. Says“Premier brand manufactured by Photo Materials Company U.S. Patent Nos. 2.345,450- 2,256,606 Made in USA” There are no nicks in the blade. Very sturdy, very heavy item. Weighs 16 pounds 2 oz by itself with no packaging. Seems prohibitively expensive to ship, so local pickup is encouraged. This bradley 24" guillotine paper cutter works very well. The blade action is tight cuts smooth all the way through, this is a heavy duty cutter very well designed. Has feet that can be mounted for a secure table cutter. The blade will cut a full 24" deep, the platform is 20" across. There is not a blade lock on this unit. The blade has a strong spring which supports the blade off the table and will not fall.

Up for bid is the vintage/antique 12" CUTTING BOARD/ PAPER TRIMMER by EASTMAN KODAK of Rochchester. N.Y. made in the Republic of China(R.O.C. as seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Excellent, like new condition with NO major defects whatsoever. Cuts good.but just short of great. If you lower the handle slowly, it cuts perfectly. If you do it too fast, it doesn't. In other words, the blade is medium sharp and with a good sharpening, it would cut like butter! Missing(1) screw at left side of ruler(almost didn't notice.virtually a non-issue) Graduations on rule are perfectly readable with minimal fade. Fantastic, rich patina to all wood and exposed metals. The vast majority of the original japaning remains and looks great! Cosmetic condition is as clearly and accurately shown in the pictures. Please inspect all of them ... morecarefully. VINTAGE INGENTO 12" x 12" SOLID MAPLE GUILLOTINE CUTTER This Cutter is in Good Cutting Condition. Cuts well. Has a convenient blade lock. Actual dimensions are 13.5" by 13 inches. Arm is a bit more than 18 inches long. Some of the finish is coming up. Some scratches and the steel blade has some slight rust. Arm holds in up position well. This is a very sturdy vintage paper cutter. Perpendicular to the handle is a 12.5" ruler which reads IDEAL SCHOOL SUPPLY CO. CHICAGO, ILL INGENTO NO. 4. The handle is marked INGENTO NO 4 also, but it's a bit harder to read. This cutter weighs almost 7lbs. The wood components are all intact and solidly attached; the"feet" are attached by dovetail joining. All hardware is present down to each old screw and washer. And the handle moves freely; however, there is a gap between the wood block and the handle which is just shy of 2/8" although with a little pressure towards the wood block the gap closes. I'm not sure whether this can be remedied by removing the rust or whether it is slightly sprung. The finish on the wood is worn and there are a few nicks and scratches. The corners of the feet show some rounding from wear. ... moreThere is paint loss as well as rust on the iron parts. And of course the blade would need sharpening. On the bottom side there is black marker which reads C. BECK GRADE 1. A partial of the original label is still glued to the bottom(photo 7) Although you can only read words here and there, including reference to the ruler. I only ship within the US. Boston 2612 12" Paper Cutter Heavy-duty 3/4 inch wood base with non-skid rubber feet. 2 missing feet. Self-sharpening. Hardened steel blade, cuts up to 15 pieces of paper, textiles, film. Permanent grid pattern for even cutting. Inch and metric scales. Safety guard keeps fingers safe from blade. Safety lock keeps the cutting blade secure while moving and when not in use. This does not show much wear. But there is a bit of paint loss around the handle area. The printing on the rulers and on the grid pattern is nice and clear. The blade is sharp.
