Paper cutter antique trimmer vintage Premier Chicago guillotine shears wood. A neat old Premier brand Photo Materials Co. paper cutter. I’m not sure if it’s vintage or antique. It has a grid and a ruler on top and bottom. It has marks and scuffs from use over the years. It’s on the large size. I measure the base to be about 16 inches by 16 inches. I measure the blade to also be about 16 inches long. Says“Premier brand manufactured by Photo Materials Company U.S. Patent Nos. 2.345,450- 2,256,606 Made in USA” There are no nicks in the blade. Very sturdy, very heavy item. Weighs 16 pounds 2 oz by itself with no packaging. Seems prohibitively expensive to ship, so local pickup is encouraged. Such a useful piece. Cuts paper to photos. Vintage. Premiere brand. Used at one of my parents stores for years. Still working. I must say i have used this many times and would sit and cut paper up for no reason. Drove my parents nuts! who know one could be addicted to cutting paper. Arm locks when arm is down. Puch the side and it releases. Everything moves smoothly with no issues. Grid measured in inches. Signs of wear are minimal but apparent so remember this is an older piece. Blade does cut but if one preferred a new blade I'm not sure if the blade can be replaced or not. I'm assuming the answer is yes. Vintage "Premier" Industrial Large Size 27"x31" Guillotine Paper-Photo Cutter
Here's a"Premier" industrial grade guillotine paper-photo cutter. It measures 27" at the back end and is 31 3/4" along the handle. so it is pretty large! It weighs 40 lbs. It is in used condition but still has a very sharp fantastic blade which cuts clean all the way through. It is missing two of the rubber pads/feet on the bottom. There is a rubber stopper for the blade but there is no safety lock. There is surface rust on the top. Scratches, scrapes and some paint wear-loss. Because of its very large size along with the weight. We have to send this by UPS ground.

This is a great vintage 1950's or 1940's paper cutter made by Premier Chicago Il. This cutter does have some age paint wear. It also has a small chip to the wood on the corner. The cutter bade is sharp and works well. The spring is rusty from age. This cutter will probably work for another 65 years. It has little rubber feet to keep it from moving. The feet are in good condition.
